This year’s World Environment Day will launch the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, a global movement to halt and reverse the damage we have done to our planet.
As we grapple with the imperative to tackle climate change, we know that stopping biodiversity loss and reversing ecosystem degradation are essential. We have to have changed course by 2030. This is the driver behind the Decade on Ecosystem Restoration or, as indigenous Australians would say “healing Country”
