Climate Change 2022: Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability

The International Panel on Climate Change’s 6^th Assessment Report “assesses the impacts of climate change, looking at ecosystems, biodiversity, and human communities at global and regional levels.” The report covers the science, the vulnerabilities, the ability of both the natural world and human societies to adapt to what is coming.  It makes for challenging reading.

There still are ways in which we can reduce the risk to people and nature but with each passing month (literally) they get fewer and harder.  “Climate resilient development pathways are progressively constrained by every increment of warming, in particular beyond 1.5°C”.

We don’t expect you to read the whole report, but what is necessary is the commitment to action.
