Over 1500 references related to our Biosphere

The Biosphere Foundation gratefully acknowledges the efforts of Barbara Porter and Joseph Mungere in the preparation of this resource.

The collection began with over 860 references compiled by Barbara Porter to support the nomination of the Biosphere to UNESCO in 2002.

In 2008, the collection was expanded by Joseph Mungere, Masters Student of Environmental Sustainability, Monash University, under the supervision of Dr Sharron Pfueller. It now includes over 1500 references.

Joseph's report (PDF 221 KB) describes the data-gathering methodology and the final collection.

Suitable for EndNote X and XI

2. RIS-format text file (1.0 MB)

Suitable to import into many other types of reference management software, including Zotero, a Firefox extension. Both Zotero (the reference manager) and Firefox (the browser in which it operates) are free, open-source software. (See notes below.)

3. RTF file (1.7 MB)

Suitable for most word processors. (See notes below.)

Please note:

1. Call numbers, accession numbers and some other details are contained in the N1 (notes) field of the RIS file. The RTF file contains the field names in the original EndNote version, so will help to resolve any questions about the contents of the RIS file.
